A young man wearing a white polo shirt with what looked like the logo of St Bede’s school was in Church Lane on Thursday evening last week asking for sponsorship for a 15 mile run being organised by the school. The school have confirmed they running no such event.

He had short very dark hair and two largish green gemstone stud earrings. The police are now aware. If he turns up on your doorstep please let them know.
