The County Council have now significantly upgraded their bus timetable system. You can visit their
new web site, put in your postcode and it will show you the bus stops close to you, which buses stop there and and where they go to. So here for example are the times for the bus stops close to Church Lane (which in fact is all the bus stops in the village so you might just want to bookmark that link).

But it doesn’t end there
. Now click on one of the bus stop names and a popup window will show you the times of the next buses at that stop. If it shows you the time in 24 hours format e.g. “09:15” then that’s just the time that bus is scheduled to arrive (so no different to a printed timetable), but if it gives the time in minutes e.g. “17 mins” then that’s the predicted time that the bus will actually arrive based on real time bus data. As more buses are upgraded to have the right technology on board we will see more of the latter and it will get more and more useful.
