As part of National Fishing Week the Cambridge Fish Preservation and Angling Society (CFPAS) committee and the Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust have agreed to hold a Family Open Day on Sunday 20th July from 10am to 4pm to officially launch their new partnership at Milton Country Park.

CFPAS have a number of qualified coaching staff who will be available to give a free 30 minutes taster session to anybody who would like to give angling a try. Advance booking is advisable via John Pope on 515458.

There will be demonstrations of pole, whip and waggler fishing. The Environment Agency will also be there with a fish tank of typical pond species, a pond dipping display, and a display stand.
