Readers will long memories will know that a new town at Waterbeach
airfield was the alternative option to Northstowe. It lost, which was good
news for Milton.

Now it’s back as the developers are suggesting it as a potential site for
an “eco-town” called Denny St Francis. Although development there is
opposed by your local councils who already have their plans in place for
Northstowe and the Cambridge airport development along with various other
sites central government get to decide where the eco-towns will go.

This development would have an impact on Milton, not least the developers
proposal to dual the A10 past the village.
