2008 will be a big year for Milton Country Park and to help the rangers get it off to a good start they are holding their first wassail event on Saturday, 5th January to bless the community orchard and the park. This is a family event and people are invited to bring lots of things to make noise with and are reminded to wrap up warm and to bring a torch and a mug. 3:30pm start from the Visitor Centre. The event is free however donations will be welcome to help improve the orchard area. There will be non-alcoholic punch available.
