Private 5524 Hugh Martin, 2nd Bn., Suffolk Regiment died on Wednesday, 16th December 1914 aged 32. He was the son of Hugh Palmer Martin, of Milton and husband of Alice Mary Martin, of Saffron Close, Histon. He is buried in Bailleul Communal Cemetery, Nord, France.
