The Wicken Fen Vision is an ambitious plan by the National Trust to extend Wicken Fen south all the way to the A14 bounded on one side by the River Cam and the Horningsea to Clayhithe road and the other by the road through Quy, Lode and Burwell. This puts it very close to Milton and along with the Country Park and the Rowing Lake will form part of a vast “green lung” to the north east of the village.

For this reason you may have views on how the scheme should be developed (I know I do as we’re frequent walkers on this land now). If you do then the National Trust are in the middle of holding a series of consultations.
