There is another mailing list for Milton which I suspect a lot of subscribers to milton-news will also want to be on. That’s the ecops.milton list. E-cops is a service run by the local police that lets them keep in touch with the community.

Here in Milton most mailings come from PCSO Scott Evans. This week for example he posted about a theft from a vehicle in Cambridge Road for which he was looking for witnesses and a statement about their policy about youths drinking in public.

I made a conscious decision from the start not to echo postings for e-cops to milton-news as I think they need encouraging and an obvious measure of the list’s success is the number of subscribers. If I subscribe and then tell you via milton-news they would think they had one subscriber rather than 170+.
