It looks like within a year we may be able to recycle our plastic bottles just by putting them out with the rest of the rubbish. At their meeting on 13th December, SCDC’s cabinet are considering a recommendation to add the collection of plastic bottles to its kerbside recycling scheme from October 2008. It would use a second plastic box which we would put out alongside the green box for collection.
