Election day

Local elections are being held on Thursday 3th May. It is Milton’s first election as part of the re-designated Milton and Waterbeach ward with three district councillors to be elected (formerly Milton had two). You can cast your vote at the Bowls Pavilion on Coles Road. You do not need your polling card to be able to vote.

The candidates:

  • Crane, Eleanor Ruth – Green Party
  • Glasfurd-Brown, Damian Laurence Joseph – Green Party
  • Johnson,Peter Terence – Independent
  • Lachlan-Cope, Tom – Green Party
  • McWilliams, Elizabeth Anne – Labour Party
  • Rabbett, Clive Michael – Conservative Party
  • Rippeth, Judith Mary Isabel – Liberal Democrat
  • Smith Bull, Christine Linda – Conservative Party
  • Smith, Hazel – Liberal Democrat
  • Walker, George Searle – Conservative Party
  • Wright, Gareth Mark – Labour Party

You will probably have received election materials from the candidates mentioning issues such as the proposed waste incinerator at Waterbeach and the large amount of housing planned for the area.

Milton Parish Council has not received enough nominations to cause an elections so the following people will be elected Parish Councillors:
