Milton News has received notice of a public meeting to discuss the “energy from waste plant” (incinerator) proposed for land North of Waterbeach at the Amey Site “Planning application ref S/3372/12/CW). This plan include a chimney or “stack” that will be higher than Ely cathedral.

The meeting will be on 29th January 7.30pm-9.00pm at Waterbeach Baptist Church.

Representatives from Amey and Cambridgeshire County Council including the independent Air Quality Consultants will be available for comment and questions.
