The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) is asking for comments from residents on their draft budget for 2018/2019.
The Combined Authority wants to hear the opinions of residents, partner organisations, businesses and other interested parties as part of the budget setting process.
Councillor Steve Count, Portfolio Holder of Fiscal Strategy for the CPCA, said:v“I would like to encourage residents, businesses and organisations from across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to get involved and send us your comments.
“The budget to date has been drafted to reflect the powers which have been devolved by Central Government and key projects which have been given the go ahead by the Combined Authority Board in 2017.
“The feedback we receive will help us build on our current draft and help us shape our new budget.”
All consultation information regarding the draft budget can be found on the CPCA website: http://www.cambridgeshirepeterborough-ca.gov.uk/news/consultation-draft-budget-20182019/
This consultation applies to the draft Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority budget only, and not to the mayor’s draft budget which is subject to a separate approval process.
The consultation will close on Wednesday 17th January 2018 and the Combined Authority Board will be provided with feedback on the consultation process at their meeting on 31st January 2018.
