Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust write:
We have been fortunate to secure a significant event to the Country Park on Sunday 7th September.
The Spartan Race is a large scale obstacle course based event.
The Race will be taking in most, but not all, of the main paths and areas throughout the park.
During the week leading up to the event (from Monday 1st September) and for a few days afterwards there will be some disruption and access to some areas will be restricted at times.
This is an important event for the Country Park and will provide vital revenue to help keep the facilities open & accessible. So please bear with us – this will be a ‘fluid’ situation & is likely to change daily.
As well as the event set up there will be a lot of participants & spectators on Sunday 7th. Please follow any instructions given by either Park or Event Staff, including any additional signage.
On Sunday 7th September we will be requesting that dogs are kept on leads and young children under control at all times.
