We had a report that on Wednesday a local old lady was called on at her door, where a young lady talked her way in to the house, and tried to sell her double glazing. She was very forceful, and bordered on bullying the old lady. Lucky her neighbours look out for her. The police have been informed, and the company has been given short shrift from the lady’s son in law. The company itself has apparently got very poor reviews on the net, and are known for engaging in heavy handed tactics.

So this is a general warning to everyone, to look out for their neighbours especially if they’re elderly, watch for cold callers, and also remember that there are many local tradespeople who can do an excellent job.
