Parklife

This Saturday (28/6) South Cambridgeshire District Council‘s Parklife event is taking place at Milton Country Park. It’s South Cambridgeshire’s biggest free family fun day this summer, attracting record crowds of over 5,000 people last year. At the event, organised in partnership with Cambridge Sports Lakes Trust, people of all ages can get in the swing by trying out free sporting activities from golf, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding, to trampolining, climbing, archery, fencing and orienteering.

Free Football Association coaching for 7-11 year olds is also available but you need to book here on their web site.

Young people who want to take to the stage to share their talent will be doing so, be they singers, dancers, poets, comedians or magicians.

Exclusive to this year’s event, to mark the arrival of the Tour de France on 7th July, is the special addition of a cycling village as well as a Commonwealth Games area and a World Cup Arena.

Live music, stalls with local produce and entertainment will also be at the fun-filled day that will run from 10am to 6pm.
