You Can Bike Too, which is based at Milton Country Park, is an all inclusive cycling project which has grown from a small idea into an amazing opportunity allowing people of all ages and abilities to become more bike confident.
The project, run in partnership with Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust and The You Can Hub, aims to remove the barriers to cycling especially for people with disabilities. Trikes, quads, hand cycles and adapted tandems are on hand to have a go on.
You Can Bike Too is looking for volunteers who know how to ride a bike to help run cycling sessions. A basic level of physical fitness is required as the role often involves cycling or walking. Good communication skills, patience and a sense of fun are also required.
Training will be provided. An open morning will be held at Milton Country Park from 11am-12:30pm this Sunday (13/4). To find out more call Ruth Brannan on 07521 905448 or email ruth@theyoucanhub.org.uk
