This Sunday (11/8) at 2:30pm in the Visitor Centre at Milton Country Park local photographer Peter Higdon will be giving an illustrated talk entitled ‘I’m a photographer, get the gardener out of here’. This talk looks at the difficulties of capturing the beauty of a garden and suggest some different approaches. Peter writes:

Ever wondered why your photographs of a garden are something of a disappointment? Perhaps, it’s the gardener to blame! A well designed garden with well stocked borders, winding paths, and secret gardens isn’t good news for the photographer. This talk looks at the difficulties of capturing the beauty of a garden, and suggests some different approaches to the problem.
