As we mentioned recently Cambridgeshire County Council are creating a shared use pedestrian/ cycleway between Milton and Landbeach. Thanks to the parish council we now have a copy of the outline design for the scheme. The new path will be 2 metres wide where possible set back from the carriageway by 1 metre.

They are looking at this project in two stages. At present they are just putting in the new path and construction of that is proposed to begin around 4th March with works lasting around 10 weeks. In the not too distant future they will be looking into how they deal with helping pedestrians across the A10.
