Anglian Water is planning to replace an existing sewer rising main from Milton Church Lane pumping station (whose access is actually in Ely Road at the north end of the high street) to the Cambridge Sewage Treatment Works. The work is proposed to start from this Monday (10/9) and finish around 9th December. During the work the high street will be subjected to lane closures and traffic lights.
