Your parish council Planning and Maintenance Committees meet on Monday (2/7) at 7pm and 7:45am respectively in the Parish Council Office. The parish council web site has the full agendas online both for planning (Adobe/PDF, 104KB) and maintenance (Adobe/PDF, 96KB).
At the planning meeting the following applications are being considered relating to properties in Milton village:
- s/1215/12/fl 53 Cambridge Road – new dwelling
- s/1271/12/fl 25 Old School Lane – two storey side extension
You may remember that in relation to the first application a previous application s/0102/12/fl for a house in the garden of 53 Cambridge Road was refused and the applicant is currently appealing but meanwhile it looks like they’ve submitted a new and superficially fairly similar application but which presumably addresses some of the issues which led to the first application being refused.
The maintenance committee will be considering a variety of issues including pest control at the cemetery, bulb planting, play equipment, and tree work around the village.
