After Tuesday’s broadband outage for many VirginMedia users some good news. The promised free (As it comes at the same time as an increase in prices “free” is a questionable description) upgrade from 30Mbps to 60Mbps is now becoming available in the village. Some parts (e.g. Church Lane) have already been upgraded, others (e.g. High Street) not just yet but it should be imminent.

So if you already have 20Mbps or 30Mbps and want to upgrade you need to log into your account and request an upgrade. If you’ve got an older modem it needs a visit by an engineer to replace your modem and they’re currently booking five weeks ahead.
