This Sunday (26/2) the Friends of Milton Country Park are holding their annual birdbox building event in the Park as part of National Nestbox Week. Come along and build a wooden birdbox to take away and put up in your garden. Turn up at the visitor centre from 10:30am to 3:30pm, £7.50 per box made.

If you can spare some time, the Friends could do with several volunteers to help out during the morning or afternoon. This requires no special skills or experience, as the children do the hard work, and an experienced volunteer will be on hand to explain.
