As you’ll know already if you’re a milton-chat subscriber Impington Village College, where many Milton children go at some point in their academic lives, is in the process of converting to Academy Status. This has been the source of some controversy and a 500+ signature petition was presented to the governors in July asking them to extend the Academy conversion consultation period. As a result the governing body published an update, available to view here (Adobe/PDF, 29KB).

As detailed in the final paragraph of this document the college is holding a public meeting this Tuesday (18/10) at 7pm in the Sports Centre Conference Room where staff, students, parents and members of the wider community including future parents are most welcome to hear an update on the College’s progress towards conversion to Academy Status.
