This Sunday (24/7) from 11am until 4pm the Country Park are holding an event called Parklife in partnership with South Cambridgeshire District Council to celebrate one year to go until the London Olympics.

An opportunity for adults and children to try new outdoor sports and also take part in the Cultural Olympiad.

Parklife will include opportunities to try fishing with the Cambridge Fish Preservation Club, Climbing walls, Tennis Tumbletots, Archery Golf, Arts workshops, Caneoing, Fencing, Carnival Parades, Paddleboarding, Facepainting, Ergo rowing, Bouncy castle, Cheerleading, Cambourne Bloco, Inflatable assault course, Orienteering, Water walkers, Football, Connections Youth Bus, Circus skills, Athletics, and Smoothie Bike.

There will be a programme of music including live bands and entertainers, one of which has put

Entry is free but if you’re coming by car rather than walking or cycling parking will be £4 rather than the usual £2.
