If anyone is wondering why the spider’s web play equipment on the Coles Road Recreation Ground has been taken down it was discovered to be unsafe (some of the cables were sawing through some of the other cables) and it wasn’t repairable.

The village got a good ten years use of it though which is about what one would
expect for play equipment so Milton Community Centre and Recreation Grounds, the charity that look after the recreation ground for the village, is now looking for funding to replace it with something broadly similar although of a hexagonal design this time.
