In Thursday’s election for South Cambridgeshire District Council the Conservatives gained two wards (Teversham and Duxford) thus increasing their overall majority from one to five. The overall make up of the new council is now: 31 Conservative, 7 Independent, 1 Labour and 18 Liberal Democrat.
