This is a particular problem is some parts of Milton, one that was highlighted in the Parish Plan survey, and the latest ecops.milton newsletter warns that the local police are now cracking down:

Please note that I have received reports of vehicles parking on the pavement and causing an obstruction. If you are parking on the pavement and are not leaving enough room for a pushchair or mobility scooter to get past, then you are causing an obstruction and could be issued a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN). I will be issuing FPNs to offenders whilst on patrol. Please also note that you can also be issued a FPN for parking within 10 metres of a junction as this causes an unnecessary obstruction.
