Chris Thomas and Alison Hullyer are opening their studios, as part of Cambridge Open Studios, on the weekends of 3-4th, 10-11th and 17-18th July from 11am until 6pm. Follow the yellow flags to Hall End, off Fen Road.

There you can see Chris’ dazzling photographs taken through a microscope. He will have a variety of postcards and large prints for sale plus the chance to view everyday objects through a microscope.

Also in Hall End Alison will be exhibiting for the 15th year. She will be showing new vibrant drypoint and collograph prints inspired by patterns in nature and the sea-side; from close-up studies of brambles, seed heads and unfurling ferns to silver birch trunks and smooth pebbles.

Pictures are available framed and unframed. Also for sale will be a large selection of her published cards, wrapping paper and stationery, by award winning publisher Phoenix Trading. She will also have some new hand-made cards. There will demonstrations and a quiz for children.
