Those of you using an email client which shows you the HTML version of multipart emails will be surprised by this email as it’s using HTML for the formatting. This has advantages: it means hyperlinks are in line rather than at the bottom of each article, characters like pound signs appears as such rather than “GBP”, and it allows me to include the occasional photograph.

If you prefer plain text you’ve not been forgotten either: I’ve made considerable efforts to ensure that the plain text version remains as before, with all hyperlinks as footnotes and you will also get any images shown as hyperlinks so you can still visit them if you want to.

This new software has only been tested on Thunderbird, Outlook Express and SquirrelMail (a plain text webmail client) so I would welcome feedback on how it looks on other mail software.
