Starting with the collection on 7th October SCDC are collecting plastics and in preparation for that you should be receiving your second green box sometime around now along with a leaflet explaining how to use it. If you haven’t done so by next Saturday (27/9) then you need to phone them on 08450 450 063.

By the way you’ll notice that SCDC don’t accept bottle tops. If you want to re-cycle those too then the Post Office in Coles Road is collecting plastic bottle tops from milk, juice and smoothie bottles for the Albaraca Nursery in The Gambia. Please remember to clean them before putting them in the collection bucket.
